Description of Network:	MISSION STATEMENT The mission of the Federal Volunteer Administrators Network (FedVAN) is to promote volunteerism and enhance volunteer management within the Federal government in order to foster volunteer programs, services and opportunities through a partnership of national-level federal volunteer program administrators. PURPOSE To increase awareness and networking opportunities among federal government agencies and components involved in citizen and community volunteer programs. To promote professional development and support for federal volunteer administrators and managers at all levels. To affirm and advance the profession of volunteer administration.
