| Description of Network: | We consist of paid and non-paid persons who work with volunteers in some sort of management, training, or the like, capacity. We meet once a month, rotating to different coordinator's locations each month. We sponsor the local Community Service Awards each April, often have guest speakers and topics to assist the coordinators/managers with their issues of handling/managing volunteers. We just began a resource library for all coordinators in the county to have access to at the Volunteer Center made up of old newletters, books of volunteer management, and various other pertinent materials of interest to the volunteer world. |
