Continuing Education Units

AVA has been approved as an Authorized Provider by the International Association for
Continuing Education & Training (IACET).

 

AVA will award Continuing Education Units (CEU) to participants who successfully
complete requirements for individual sessions. The CEU is an internationally recognized
unit designed to record an individual's professional development and learning. One CEU is defined as ten contact hours of participation in an organized continuing education experience under responsible sponsorship, capable direction and qualified instruction. CEU credit is

given for all workshop sessions, including AVA Academy and Advanced Practitioner Track. CEU credit is not given for Keynote sessions or for sessions related to AVA programs or business. Conference participants wishing to receive Continuing Education Units should indicate this by checking the box on the registration form. A CEU processing and record maintenance fee of
$7.00 US for AVA members and $10.00 US for non-members must be paid in addition
to your Conference registration fee. For those who elect CEU credit, additional
details will be provided with your confirmation materials.
