Delegate Host Program

Welcome to the Delegate Host Program!

 

As part of our theme, Connection Points, Delegate Hosts are available to enhance and

support the delegates' Conference experience, especially if you are traveling from far away.

 

A Delegate Host wants to personally share the experience of the Conference with
someone else. A Host helps a guest meet others and may accompany them to the
Opening Ceremonies, a meal, or explore some of Denver's delights. A Host can
arrange an off-site visit to an agency or provide information and/or guidance about
the city and the Conference.

 

If you wish to be a hosted delegate, please think about what you would like to see
and do while at the Conference – who you want to meet, what you want to see,
which agency you want to visit. All visits will be at the delegate’s expense and subject
to availability of participating agencies. Your Host will meet you at a time and
place that you arrange during your initial contact. Conference delegates who wish
to be hosted must indicate their intentions on the registration form. If you indicate
an interest, you will be sent further information.

 

First-Time Attendee and Delegate Host Program

There will be a special welcome and orientation on Wednesday, October 9 from
5:00 pm – 6:00 pm for all participants in the Delegate Host Program and First-Time
Attendees.

 

Visa Assistance

Information for Delegates Needing Assistance with Visas: AVA welcomes participants
from throughout the world. Individuals from soft-currency or developing nations can receive a packet of information regarding visa letters, accommodations, and payment options by contacting the AVA office at [email protected] or call 804-346-2266.
