direction of Kelley Contreras, performs a variety of folk, jazz and
Colorado-style music that will have you tapping your feet and

along. Then, kick up your heels as a local square dance group engages
you in a few dances for an exhilarating evening of fun.

AVA Awards Luncheon: A Celebration of Excellence!

- A time to applaud individuals and organizations that exemplify
excellence in Volunteer Administration, contributions to the profession,
and service to the Association. Awards are presented in three categories
based on nominations from AVA members.

An Evening at The Denver Museum of Nature and Science
- Thursday, October 10, 6:30 pm –10:30 pm

- ICVA invites all Conference participants to a dinner hosted by the
Museum on Thursday, October 10 at 6:30 p.m. Your Conference fee covers
this evening at one of Colorado’s treasures. Shuttle
buses begin
leaving the Adam’s Mark Hotel at 5:30 pm to give you time to enjoy the
world of dinosaurs in Prehistoric Journey, and delve into
cultures and traditions of ancient and contemporary people. You’ll also
experience the Museum’s volunteers in action as they lead you through
the 90 world renowned dioramas, visit the Hall of Life, and
enjoy the special feature exhibit, The Lost Spacecraft: Liberty Bell
7 Recovered. Let the IMAX Theater put you on the edge of your seat
and in the middle of the action in Australia, Land Beyond Time.

- Join us for the annual business meeting of the Association as we
share the highlights of the past year, celebrate our achievements, and
salute outgoing and incoming leaders. All Conference participants are
welcome.

Dinner with an Expert – Talk About a Specific Issue or Topic

- Join a small group of your peers and a top expert in the field for
dinner! Talk about a specific issue or topic: diners' choice. Each
dinner will be held at a moderately priced restaurant within walking
distance of the hotel. Register at the Conference.
