Session Description: Would you like to improve the quality of nominations in formal recognition programs?  Explore the methods of writing concise, well-organized nomination statements.  This interactive workshop will provide participants with techniques for understanding the nomination process, effectively engaging volunteers and paid staff, analyzing nomination criteria and gathering data.

1. Understand the process of gathering information and submitting written nomination statements
2. Identify and practice communication skills used in writing award nominations
3. Explore strategies for effectively engaging volunteer and paid staff in formal internal and external recognition systems
