CONNECTING TEENS TO THEIR FAMILIES AND COMMUNITIES THROUGH SERVICE

Program Description: This session will use audio-visuals and small group analysis to explore the North Carolina 4-H T.I.M.E. (Teens Influencing the Minds of Everyone) program that engages and empowers urban teens through volunteerism so as to address issues in their local communities.

Learning Objectives:
1. Increase their knowledge of T.I.M.E.
2. Increase their knowledge of designing effective teen service programs based upon engagement and empowerment
3. Indicate plans to strengthen or expand an existing or new teen service program
