LEADERS OF VOLUNTEER RESOURCES AS TRUSTHOLDERS

Session Description: Based on an education model for trustholder effectiveness, participants will engage in dialogue, reflection and interactive exercises around recognizing the need to move beyond technical skill and ability into the realm of adaptive approaches as leaders of volunteer resources and will identify actions that will embrace Core Beliefs.

Learning Objectives:
1. Examine the qualities that leverage trustworthiness and respect
2. Understand framework for effective leadership
3. Identify and examine the personal and organizational events and values that influence and guide volunteer involvement
4. Align Core Beliefs from the Universal Declaration on the Profession of Leading and Managing Volunteers with ethical actions
5. Recognize the need to align personal beliefs and values with organizational mission
