Session Description: Experienced volunteers can be an asset to your organization when promoted to leadership positions.  Utilizing their expertise to serve as managers, they expand your program's outreach exponentially.  This session will include group discussions, case studies and worksheets to assist you in thinking about how volunteers can increase your organization's effectiveness.

Learning Objectives:
1. Increase knowledge of utilization of volunteers as mid-level managers
2. Demonstrate a more positive attitude toward volunteers as mid-level managers
3. Indicate plans to initiate or strengthen their agency's involvement of managers as mid-level managers
