Session Description: This session will address what the common motivators are and what keeps leadership volunteers working with your team.  Through strong motivational techniques, you can maximize the resources of your volunteers and form a beneficial partnership that meets the expectations of both the volunteer and the organization.

1. Explain the importance of maintaining a people perspective when recruiting leadership volunteers
2. Identify the three types of people in an effort of understanding people
3. List the behaviors you can count on and what people aspire to and what keeps them motivated
4. Explain why using an appreciative inquiry approach can motivate and engage leadership volunteering
