Session Description: This workshop is an introduction to the basics of web mastering.  Through this introductory session participants will be able to learn: website hosting, software used and publication of sites.  Development of a good website can lead to major marketing of volunteer programs and volunteer recruitment.

Learning Objectives:
1. Know the basic requirements for developing a website
2. Know the different software packages
3. Know why it is important to know the advantages of various browsers
4. Comprehend the rules of web development
5. Know the difference between types of graphic images
6. Understand the concept of ‘meta-tags’ when used in publicizing a site
