VOLUNTEER MANAGEMENT IN A MULTI-STATE REGION

Session Description: Through the Daniels College Prep and Scholarship Program, adult volunteers provide college prep programming to high school students in New Mexico, Wyoming and Colorado.  This workshop focuses on developing policy and procedures for recruitment, training and retention of volunteers in a three-state region.

Learning Objectives:
1. Identify at least three components for successful recruitment, training and supervising of volunteers that will lead towards retention
2. List at least two operations that can be accomplished centrally
3. List at least two operations that remain individually tailored to regional programs
