Thursday, October 10, 2002, 3:30 – 5:00 p.m. ORGANIZATIONAL TRANSFORMATION THROUGH VOLUNTEER MOTIVATION Martin Cowling, AFS Intercultural Programs, Victoria, Australia Session Description: Successful volunteer-based organizations rely on the health of their volunteer workforce.  Administrators must understand what factors are motivating and de-motivating their volunteers.  Utilizing adult learning techniques, this interactive and fun session identifies these factors and how they change during a volunteer’s life cycle.
