ORGANIZATIONAL TRANSFORMATION THROUGH VOLUNTEER MOTIVATION

Session Description: Successful volunteer-based organizations rely on the health of their volunteer workforce.  Administrators must understand what factors are motivating and de-motivating their volunteers.  Utilizing adult learning techniques, this interactive and fun session identifies these factors and how they change during a volunteer’s life cycle.

Learning Objectives:
1. Be able to identify four key groups of factors which motivate and de-motivate volunteers
2. Understand how these motivating factors change during a volunteer's life cycle and how they need to be monitored
3. Understand the tool and theory utilized by the presenter in researching the motivating factors
4. Be able to identify practical steps they will need to pursue in their organizations to improve the motivation levels of their own volunteers
