CONNECTING YOUR CITY WITH YOUR COMMUNITY - The Making of a "Day of Good Deeds"

Session Description: Learn how to develop and implement a community-wide plan to establish partnerships.  Bring together Volunteer Leadership from within your community, share experiences and knowledge to promote and celebrate volunteerism.  This workshop through group participation and breakout groups will provide skills to develop services that meet the need of the citizens.

Learning Objectives:
1. By sharing volunteer resources within the community, volunteer leaders will learn to think more entrepreneurially
2. Develop a Volunteer Task Force and implement a "Day of Good Deed"
3. Develop community needs and volunteers needs while allowing the community and volunteer leaders to have a strong relationship among individuals and organizations
