Jeanne H. Bradner is an author, consultant, trainer, presenter and keynoter on volunteerism, board governance and leadership. Among her books are Passionate Volunteerism, The Board Member�s Guide, A Beneficial Bestiary and Leading Volunteers for Results: Building Communities Today. She is a contributor to the John Wiley & Sons Handbook Of Volunteer Management and The Nonprofit Handbook--Management.

She served as Director of the Illinois Governor�s Office of Voluntary Action; Midwest Regional Director of ACTION; and Executive Director of the Illinois Commission on Community Service. She is program specialist for the Volunteer Management Certificate Program at Harper College and received the AVA 1996 Harriet Naylor Distinguished Member Service Award.
