Mary Kay Hood is the Director of Volunteer Services at Hendricks community Hospital. She is active with the Central Indiana Association of volunteer Administration (CIAVA), the Indiana Society of Directors of volunteer Services (ISDVS) and the United Way of Central Indiana, facilitating the Basic Volunteer Management Series for the last several years.

She utilizes an interactive style of presentation with topics ranging from recruitment, interviewing, supervision, risk management, forms management, to team building skills. Recipient of the 1995 Outstanding Director of Volunteer Services Award, she has authored a book, The One Minute Answer to Volunteer Management Questions.
