Abstract |
As CyberVPM becomes a part of the AVA network, the founder of this international listserve, Nan Hawthorne, shares the history and development of this volunteer management resource network. From its humble beginning with two-dozen local members to almost 900 subscribers in 2002, the Internet has eliminated the barriers of time and distance to create a worldwide cyber-community for volunteer management professionals. |
